BEFORE THE COMM
[ You are agreeing to these terms when ordering a commission from me, regardless of the platform it's being hosted on ]
“You” refers to the client/individual commissioning the artist
“I”, “My”, “Me” refers to the artist being commissioned (DustyMasonJar)
"Comm" and "comms" refer to the commission between you--the client--and me--the artist being commissioned
"We" refers to the client--you--and the artist--me
If you fall under the AI or Sexual sections of my DNI (Do Not Interact; as in you are homophobic, racist, pedophillic, support AI images or have AI images on your page, etc), you cannot commission me
If you're anywhere on my Blacklist/Blocklist, you cannot commission me
You are responsible for having the proper payment before commissioning me
If you plan on using the comm for commercial purposes, please let me know ahead of time, and we can discuss rights/feesLet me know if you don’t want your commission being posted by me!Operate with common sense (I do not need to specify for you to be respectful.)ORDERING
I contact and go through the commission process through Discord by default, you need to specify if you wish to contact me via different means (th dms, email, etc.)
I will not contact you via publicly visible means (comments, bulletins, etc.)
The TAT (Turn Around Time) is an estimate of how long I'll be working on the commission before it's finished, the TAT can be shorter or longer, I will let you know if there may be anything delaying, extending, etc. the deadlineI'll need to finish the commission without rushing
If you need the comm done by a certain date (within reason; I will not accept next-day deadlines for large orders), I can finish it to the best of my ability for a fee depending on what date the comm is needed
You cannot change when you will be sending payment once you state at what point you preferDURING THE COMM
I will send frequent wips (Work In Progress) by default at every step that I will ask for them to be approved before continuing
I won't make major art changes after the sketch stage (pose, perspective, mood, etc.)
When wishing to change, fix, or add a detail in the drawing, I assume you ask for all the changes all at once, I won't change, fix, or add a detail that could have been caught in the last step unless it is minor (eyebrow is too low, pupil is slightly too big, etc.)
I will inform you if there is anything outside of the commission that will affect the frequency of wips
If I haven't sent you any messages or updates in a day, reminder messages will most likely receive a response
I WON'T SOLELY BE WORKING ON YOUR COMMISSION
If you constantly message me about your commission in a short period (~1 hour) even when I have kept you updated, you will receive a warning
If I'll be unable to complete a comm or an issue comes up and I cancel the comm (unlikely), I will issue a refund based on how far in the drawing process I'm in:Rough Sketch - Full Refund
Lineart - 60% Refund
Flatcolor - 20% Refund
Render/Shading - No RefundI WON'T GIVE REFUNDS PAST THE ROUGH SKETCH [if you yourself back out], THESE NUMBERS ARE ONLY IF I, the artist, CANCEL THE COMMISSIONPAYMENT
I can accept Paypal (Goods & Services) and Ko-fi
I won't accept gift cards, physical items, bank transfers, or anything of the like
You need to have payment before needing to pay, you will get off with a warning if you don't/can't provide payment within 5 hours without an explanation (Saying you’ll send payment then not paying in an hour will be treated the same and will receive a warning, the 5-hour rule is the maximum time you have)
If you ask for an extension of the time you have to send payment more than once, I will cancel the commission and add you to my public black/blocklistAFTER THE COMM
You must credit me when posting, sending, etc. my art anywhere, credit should include at least my user on one of my socials and which social my user is associated with (ex. DustyMasonJar on th, dustymasonjar on discord)
You will be put on my black/blocklist if you claim my art as your own
You may not alter my art without my permission, excluding cropping for a profile, wallpaper, etc. (credit me in an easily-accessible place if so)
DO NOT PUT ANY OF MY ART INTO ANY AI SOFTWARE, DATABASE, ETC. YOU WILL BE ADDED TO MY BLACK/BLOCKLIST AND I WILL WARN ARTISTS IN ANY MEANS I CAN
DO NOT MAKE ANY OF MY ART INTO AN NFT/s OR ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH CRYPTO OR SCAMSVIOLATING TERMS
If you violate my terms after you have received 2 warnings at any point, I will cancel whatever you are purchasing, ordering, etc. from me and add you to my public Black/blocklist with a stated reason for why you're being added.
